Welcome to 2026: A Year of Mindset, Momentum, and Meaning
Welcome to 2026. I’m truly grateful you’re here. A new year always feels like an open notebook to me, clean pages, quiet possibility, and space to write with intention. This year, my focus is clear and purposeful. We’ll be exploring mindset change, manifestation, journaling, writing, storytelling, confidence, and gentle goal setting, not pressure-filled goals, but ones that support who you are becoming.
Journaling and writing remain at the heart of my work because writing tells the truth. Sometimes it tells us what we already know but haven’t had the courage to face. Storytelling matters too; our stories connect us, remind us we’re not alone, and often reveal how resilient we really are.
As I welcome this year, I’m also holding something deeply personal. Today is my firstborn son Tamboura’s birthday. He is no longer here with me, but his presence is forever part of my story. There are moments when joy and remembrance share the same space, and this is one of them. I honor his life, his love, and the way he shaped my heart. May he rest in peace.
Because of experiences like this, I’m paying close attention in 2026 to sustained energy, not hustle or burnout, but the kind that comes from alignment and intention. I’m also leaning into initiative, launching, and visibility, and showing up, taking action, and allowing our voices and stories to be seen.
Along the way, I’ll be sharing family stories, personal reflections, and acknowledgments, sometimes from me, sometimes from others who wish to contribute. Life is layered, and I want this space to reflect that truth.
I’m also inviting a small group of beta testers to join me for a workshop next Thursday at 11 a.m. Pacific Time. If you enjoy journaling, mindset work, and thoughtful conversation, I’d love to have you be part of it.
My wish for you this year is clarity, courage, confidence, and momentum, not perfection, just meaningful progress. What are you intentionally focusing on in 2026?
