We Remember: A Reflection on September 11th

September 11, 2026•1 min read

A quiet reflection for a day that still lives in our collective memory. If today feels heavy, sensitive, or sacred to you, you’re not alone.

Today, I slow down in remembrance of September 11th, a day that forever changed our nation and touched every heart that lived through it. I honor the lives lost, the families who still carry their names, and the courage of first responders who ran toward danger with unwavering devotion.

This day reminds me of how fragile life is, and how powerful unity can be. Amid unimaginable tragedy, we witnessed compassion, resilience, and strength rising from the ashes.

I carry a quiet gratitude for the freedoms we hold, the communities we build, and the hope that continues to guide us forward. May we remember, reflect, and choose to live with kindness and purpose.

We will never forget.

If today brings up memories, emotions, or a need for quietness, feel free to share your reflections in the comments. Sometimes healing happens in community, even in small ways.
