Sundays Are for Sunshine, Laughter & a Little Bit of Journaling
There’s just something special about Sundays. The pace is slower, the coffee tastes sweeter, and the world feels like it’s pressing the pause button—just for a moment.
This morning, I sat on the patio, wrapped in a light blanket, sipping my favorite drink, coffee (of course), and listening to the birds hold their own little concert. That moment reminded me of something important: joy doesn’t always come in grand gestures—it often tiptoes in with the morning sun and a grateful heart.
Sundays are sacred—not just spiritually, but emotionally. It’s a day to reset your mindset, refill your joy tank, and remind yourself that laughter is medicine and journaling is therapy. I wrote in my journal this morning: “I give myself permission to rest, laugh, and dream today.” You’d be surprised how freeing that one sentence can be!
Whether you're curled up with a romance novel, cooking something cozy, or watching an old Western (you know I love me some “Perry Mason” after church), don’t forget to add YOU to your to-do list today.
So, here’s your Sunday soul prompt:
What’s one simple thing that brought you joy today? Write it down, cherish it, and share it in the comments—I’d love to celebrate it with you.
Wishing you a Sunday filled with sunshine, belly laughs, and a little bit of grace.
