The Power of Starting Small

Why Your Tiny Steps Matter More Than You Think

I used to think I needed a grand plan before I could start anything meaningful. I wanted the perfect journal, the right moment, and a little magic from heaven before I dared to move forward. But I’ve learned something beautiful over the years—it’s not the big leaps that change your life, it’s the small, consistent steps.

You don’t have to write a book today—just jot down how you feel. You don’t need to have all the answers—just take one brave step in the direction of your dream. Those tiny actions? They create momentum. And momentum creates miracles.

When I started journaling, I had no idea it would become a life-changing tool that would open doors, heal wounds, and spark ideas I didn’t know I had. All I did was write one thought… then another… and another.

Small steps build confidence. They whisper to your soul, “You can do this.” And the more you listen, the louder that voice becomes.

So regardless if  you’re starting a new journal, a new habit, or a new chapter in life—start small, but start.

💭 Journaling Prompt:
